Alfie Sosa was born and raised in Buenos Aires where his first exposure to music came from listening to his older sibling’s favorites: Bowie, Prince, the B-52s, Cyndi Lauper and more. It wasn’t until he discovered Cat Stevens as a teenager that he developed his own taste in music and love for the guitar. Five years ago he picked one up and taught himself to play. His style is that of a modern-day storyteller with strong ties to the folk artists of the past. His influences include John Prine, Jewel, and Gordon Lightfoot. In March of 2020, Alfie released his first EP “In My Mind” and since then has released several singles. 

Alfie lives a very domestic life in Philadelphia PA, with his husband and their dog.
